I was tasked with developing the promotional plan for the Community Foundation’s Penny for Your Thoughts contest in 2017. This involved assessing social media tactics to determine what channels and types of posts would be most effective, chronicling other media outlets such as radio and press releases, and putting everything together in a focused plan that could be implemented. My favorite part of this project was developing sample social media posts because it gave me the chance to imagine potential user interactions (and, as you’ll see, have some fun with the content). Appendix B has been omitted for confidentiality of businesses we targeted as potential promotion partners.
