#TheSpaceForThanksgiving Day 4: Parivrtta Anjaneyasana | Is it dorky to say I’m grateful for all the twists in my life? Looking back, it always seems like something better fell into place after an unexpected twist. I’m grateful for my move back to Lansing, because I don’t think I truly saw this place I call home until I came back to her and I don’t think I truly saw myself, either. #yoga #lovelansing #TheSpaceForThanksgiving Day 3: Vriksasana | Balance has always been tough for me, on and off the mat. Gratitude for balance often starts with remembering that “No” is a complete sentence, and that I am just as worthy of space as any other part of my life. I chose a simple balance as a reminder that things don’t have to be complicated or hectic to be fulfilling. #yoga #balance #lovelansing #TheSpaceForThanksgiving Day 2: Trikonasana | It was hard to think about what keeps me grounded in this season because I’ve struggled to stay grounded recently ... but what keeps me grounded the most is my friend @ameliadoesyoga, who literally sent me a yoga flow and playlist at 10:00pm last night because I was fighting with eating disorder thought patterns and wasn’t able to make it to @yogastate.el.okemos that night. I have been struggling to be patient with myself these past few months, which has made it hard to honor myself and let the love of others in.
